FORM & FUNCTION
DESIGN II- ARC 257
The goal of this project was to design bridge with a movable concept, allowing for a 30 feet by 40 feet object to pass through seamlessly. This innovative design not only enhances functionality but also ensures safety and accessibility for larger vehicles. By incorporating a mechanism that allows the bridge to adjust, were required to carefully consider the design's form and function.

MOVEMENT ANALOGIES
In our innovative approach to bridge opening movement we repurposed everyday household items featuring two or more hinges. By utilizing items like Wine bottle openers and umbrellas, we created a functional model that mimics the mechanics of a real bridge These common objects allowed us to explore the principles of leverage and pivoting, showcasing how simple materials can contribute to complex engineering concepts.
